A new chapter begins…

225 years of Tonbridge Cricket Club, and on Friday evening a new chapter began.

On a perfect evening for cricket, our Women's team played their first ever hardball fixture, against a welcoming Southborough side, on their beautiful ground. Every player contributed, the cricket was competitive and to top it all off Tonbridge won.

This is significant for many reasons, but perhaps most of all because it means we now have an emerging pathway for our girls at the club.

Special thanks to Caitlin, who captained the side. She was one of the first girls ever involved with Tonbridge Cricket Club, which made this a particularly fitting occasion. And to Jason, for the coaching that got us here.

Most of all thank you to the team for their involvement and enthusiasm and to everyone at the club who has helped make this possible.
