Tonbridge Girls make history
Glass ceiling broken.
A great picture of our Girls U13s after their game against Tunbridge Wells last weekend. This is the first Girls league game in 224 years of Tonbridge Cricket Club, so it is amazing to see. A huge thanks should go to our opponents for all their support in making it a really positive experience all round.
It is a special moment for the club, and there has been a tremendous amount of work put in over the last few years to make this a reality. Last year saw the first ever Girls friendly games played, but this huge jump to playing league cricket really does reflect the passion and energy that this section of the club has for the game.
Well done to all of those people involved.
