Tonbridge Mourns Club Legend

It is with great sadness that we have learned about the passing of club legend Tom Pearce.

Tom was an absolute gentleman who played for many years for both 1st & 2nd XI’s, opening the bowling with unerring steady medium paced accuracy, and he loved the club. A very generous benefactor along with his best friend Craig Bennett. With Wicksey, Frenchy & Ronnie they curated the new ground at Poplar Meadow for many seasons rain or shine. Loyalty personified. He loved France, art, champagne & his house in St Tropez. He was one of a dedicated few who created the foundation for the club we have today in his own quiet way.
